My name is Joan Piedra. I'm an UI designer, and passionate Front-end web developer with almost 5 years of experience.
Web development forum moderator, and tech-oriented article writer of web standards, XHTML, CSS and Javascript for one of the biggest web design and development communities in Spanish.
Speaker at conferences of the National Peruvian Webmasters Association (ANWMP), Cristalab Perú 2007, Garage Flash 2007 1st Anniversary, and massive online events such as Cristalab Online 2, and Cristalab Ozon3.
Contributing member of the Open Source and Free software community, Javascript interaction suite: jQuery UI, web architecture and prototyping framework: BlueprintCSS, content management system: Jaws Project. I was part of the jQuery UI online coding sprint on March 14-15th, 2008.
